Back in the early 1990s, I played the heck out of Palladium's games. TMNT, Ninjas & Superspies, Rifts, Heroes Unlimited, Robotech, etc. Out of nostalgia, I've picked up the complete run of TMNT. And now I'm thinking of getting Heroes Unlimited back into my collection. Dc Heroes RpgHere is the one I grew up with, the Revised edition: This is the new 2nd Edition that I have never touched: So, RPGnet, fill me in. Should I pick up an old copy of the familiar revised edition for under $5 on Amazon, or shell out $15 for the new 2nd edition? What has been changed? Total club manager 2005 xbox. ![]() What has been updated? I know the system hasn't changed, but what did they put in/take out? Well Second Edition is what 350pages? Heroes Unlimited Powers List-a few new character classes like the Mega-Hero It also incorporates the vehicle creation rules from Road Hogs, I'm not sure if revised had this or not. Come to think of it the only thing HURevised has going for it is the equipment list, which is a teensy bit better then HU2 Last edited by Spook; at 05:55 PM. I liked Revised better. The 2nd edition guts the power level of Mages and Psionic in some ways (who aren't helped by mega heroes a whole lot.) There is some nice information on heroes in the HU world in 2E, there are some improvements in skills, and a few character options are added (more Robot options, more Alien options). The adventure in the back is gutted. (Not that it was much of an adventure but still) I like Revised better--2nd is alright, but many of the changes were to bring it closer to the handling of Palladium FRPG 2E and Rifts, and this was actually not a positive thing entirely from my POV. HU 2nd ed definately.
